These are some screen captures of an unfinished project (codename Flyover) of summer 2006 for Sony Playstation 3 I've been working on creating the procedural, art design & implementation of the project at Playlogic for Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE). It is a real-time landscape engine with both real-time and offline procedurally generated elements.

Many thanks to my former colleagues at Playlogic that worked on this project.

  • Is the terrain suppose to change when the camera gets close it's almost like the Displacement maps are snapping into play instead of a smooth unnoticeable change.

  • Impressive!
