Urgent: Take Action Today! Tell Governor Dayton and legislators that we need a budget that protects seniors!
Call today:
Governor Dayton: (651) 201-3400
State Senate: (651) 296-0504
State House: (651) 296-2146

We asked our parents and grandparents and the caregivers who assist them 24 hours a day to share their feelings on funding for older adult services in the face of a potential government shutdown in Minnesota. This is what they said...

  • What a piece of one sided propaganda! Their is zero desire to allow programs and services to 'grandmas and grandpas' to expire. The Senate and House will pass bills immediately to fund these programs and services IF called back to session by the Governor.

  • All to keep fat greedy state worker pensions and jobs intact. Shameless

  • now can you just imagine if the government failed to raise debt ceiling and defaulted on its debt, resulting in the entire US government shutdown ,can you just imagine the mess this greedy fucking US politicians and banker are going to cause, the millions out of work, the global damage this is going to cause??/ god help us all. people will have to revolt at the end , new world order must be created to take power from politicians and banker and give it back to the people

  • i get so pist the f up.these are our elders the ones who built these grounds we are so happy to step on.why do they get treated so damn wrong? what ppl think? that we will never get old? wtf?

  • Then why was medicare and medicaid the first on Obama's list to cut? Don't be hypocritical, both parties are to blame. Democrats are as much to blame for this problem as the republicans are. Remember, Dayton is the one who is putting thousands out of work because he could not compromise with the republicans who hold no power in minnesota anymore. THIS WAS DAYTON'S DECISION, not the republicans that you still blame.

  • Dayton is a liar and a liberal scumbag unwilling to take responsibility for his actions and continues to blame republicans even though they have no real power anymore in minnesota. I am a minnesota democrat and to you mr. dayton I say, SCREW YOU.

  • We prostituted the quality of our communities for the quantities of Govern Mentalists we traded a republic in for a Federal UNION the old are in Gods hands it's the young I fell sorry for. What did we do to our country or was it even one.

  • Oh the games our Govern Mentalists play. If the thief's are that bad off just think what they done to the people but don't worry the counterfeit Federal UNION will pull their prostitutes out for a trick or two.

  • No compassionate conservatives on this thread. They should be ashamed.

  • Tax the 2%. Quit picking on the middle or low middle class. Shame on those who dont want to take care of our own. Shame on corporate lobbiests. Lets lobby for helping one another. Take care of us. Businesses will be ok.

  • I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THE 7,700 RICH PEOPLE IN MN WATCH THIS AND THEN TELL THESE PEOPLE THEY CAN NOT HELP OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Unfortunately the republicans don't give a damn about the elderly.
