Oh, and by the way, I'm generally not a fan of covers - another artist doing a classic like this really has deliver something special to make me thing: "Hmm...not bad". But when someone claims "Deftones version so much better" earlier in the comments, you set a high standard. I listened to the Deftones version. Uh........no. Dreary, colorless, practically monotoned. It is a unique interpretation for sure, but, again, unless that uniqueness makes it special, then its just.....different.

Just heard this song today for the first time in years and couldn't believe I forgot how much I loved it when it came out. Not only does Sade have a distinctive and compelling style of singing, but what struck me today was the quality of the arrangement/production of this song. Some genius(es) spent a lot of time, thought and talent crafting this gem of sound without gimmicks or hackneyed "hit-maker" filler. I just got lost in the music. Still crisp, fresh and timeless.....
