    I also forgot to ask if you always have to use white as the first coat when doing marble design.

    you don't have to. you can use any color.. you actually don't have to use anything if you don't want! i just like having something as a base! :)

    Girl!!! Thanks so much! I'm gonna try all of them! I like the marble effect but water marbling was way to messy and hard! keep up the good work! :)

    I'm gonna do all of these - but, dumb question maybe... do you let that first coat of white DRY fully first, or leave it all wet.. thanks!

    yeah, but it doesn't have to be completely dry. as long as its dry enough so you can paint over it with the colors!

    hi! :D i really like this design and technique, when you use the toothpick on your nails do you press down hard or go across lightly???? i'd love to know that before i do this don't want to mess them up!
