Kids safety put at risk at what is suppose to be the most magically place on earth.



On 02/06/09 at approximately 9:40 pm I Gabriel LeBaron was leaving Disneyland in Anaheim, Ca. After spending a wonderful day in the park it soon became a nightmare that could have cost my child her life. My night was soon filled with a child endangerment, and degraded in front of my children, all at the hands of a disneyland cast member who job is to make everyones visit magical. I was getting ready to get on the disneyland tram to the mickey and friends parking lot structure when I was approached by a cast memeber named John. Disneyland Cast member John then states "What are you waiting for" I then replied the tram. John then stated "Well there it is what more are you waiting for" The Disneyland Cast member then tells my children "Go ahead kids, get aboard". Meanwhile I'm still trying to concept this castmember being rude to me, for no apparent reason. I then see the disneyland tram begin to move with my daughters foot already on the tram. Another Tram Castmembers sees the tram begin to move and informs my daughter to get off the tram, and stand behind the yellow line. I then am startled by the events that had unfolded in front of me. As my child could have been drug by the disneyland tram. Disneyland cast member John then in disregard to what had just happened, then turns his back and walks after. No sorry, or even adknowledgement of his thoughtless actions. I then requested another Disneyland Tram cast member Cedric retrieve his name. Disneyland Tram cast member Cedric then walks down to John and informs him that due to his senseless actions I requested his name. As I informed Cedric that me going to get it might esculate the situation. John the Disneyland Tram cast member then comes back to myself, and gets into my face. John then states his name, and states dont worry I'm not hard to find. He then states "Why dont you take yourself to city hall and complain, and get something for free". I then stated 'Excuse me sir" to Cedric I asked him did you hear what he just told me. Cedric then replied yes and began to apoligize. I then asked Cedric how to get to city hall from the outside of the park. Cedric then instructed me on how to go about getting to city hall. I then get to city hall and speak to a supervisor where the supervisor writes down the castmembers name and thats it. Never not once did she write down my infromation or even ask if my daughter was ok. I feel that this is totally unacceptable, and I need someone to contact me regarding this. Safety should not be comprimised, especially not a childs, nor should i be belittled or degraded at disneyland the most happiest place on earth. But that night was far from that, If an cast member is allowed to be a child and risk and work at disneyland that is not a place I want to take my children.

Okay, you may have a complaint that is legit, but don't go overboard by saying that Disney allows CM's to compromises a child's safety. That is just plain stupid to stay. The place hosts 20 million guests annually and has an impeccable safety record, so facts speaker louder than your whining complaint here. With 22,000 CM's it is possible to have a bad CM's every once in a while. The most unsafest place on earth? Give me a break. You are making yourself look stupid and whining.

You are nothing more than a loser who needs to take responsibility for his actions rather than try and blame Disneyland. By the way, lay off the junk food at Disneyland.

@loonercrazy you are correct... when a cast member hears this, all they hear is a whinning tourist who had one small problem and now wants everything given to them. Parents put their kids safety at risk when they go to the park, they try to get their kids in rides they are not tall enough for, they lit them climb on trash cans, climb over walls ect... if you want to see an unsafe park, go to Knotts

As a disneyland cast member, it was wrong for the cast member to have done what he did... you should have gone to city hall. As an AP you wil not get free passes but you could have been given a re-admit pass into a ride, food voucher or V.I.P. seating into fireworks, fantasmic ect...

Safety is Disney's top priority, so to say its unsafe is crossing the line is too much
