I think the lady was trying to say "2 hours on another train, another 2 hours on a bus" or something like that. All total, it must have taken her 6 hours to get there. It was just summed up and shared as 6 hours on this program.

Good of you to do this but a quick look on a map would have shown that Wakayama region is far from March 12 danger. If any Japanese cat celebrity would have been at risk, its Zen Master Shiro (and brothers Chatora and the Chibi and humans).as he is in Iwate Prefecture. They are fine as they live far away from the coast in the highland area.
But lots of suffering people will be grieving their family neko-chan
