Demon Attack For The Intellivision

In this video I demonstrate the 1982 Imagic game Demon Attack. This is not meant to be a speed run or review. It is a video to show the over all greatness that is Demon Attack. I first played this game when I was 6 years old. Its been a few years since I played it so I did not do very good in this video. Thank you for watching. INTELLIVISION LIVES!

Good game the controllers made it so damn hard though. Like that they used the same spiral bullet/bomb from Space Armada too. That Boss stage when I was 13 was like WHOA!!!! ARCADE ACTION AT HOME

How did the controls make it hard? All you had to do is press left or right on the disc. Maybe you were more used to joysticks? In which case you could have bought some Sticklers. And of course pressing any button enabled auto fire so that's not hard.

Why bother when I can send it to you? Do you have a way to transfer it from the pc/mac to a 99/4a?

Can't say that I do.  Are you just playing rom files via a floppy drive on the TI or just using an emulator?

@sinistermoon Sticklers suck. I've tried them. They just don't feel right and don't make control any better. As for using the disc, it's just not as as quick and responsive compared to playing Demon Attack on the 2600 and has a floaty, impercise feel. It's too bad, as the graphics of the Inty version are very nice. A decent game, but the original plays better.

Looks like the Atari 2600 version of Demon Attack has better graphics.

@Nadav34: yeah and the C=64 version of Demon Attack is the best..

@sinistermoon I had the sticklers they were very awkward though for my childish hands holding the controller in a deathgrip while working a chess pawn , kinda sucked.

Anyway the standard pad I found doing quick left-right dodging between bullets hard, part of dodging is NOT moving at the right time too and I found this hard with the stock pad, as well as over shooting where I meant to be.

This version has a nice touch on variety but the gameplay graphics and sound is way better on Atari 2600.
