Hardtalk takes a look at the country's extraordinary resources boom.
Thanks to China's insatiable demand for coal, iron ore and other commodities the Australian economy has avoided the economic woes of the west and continues to grow. Stephen Sackur meets one of Australia's wealthiest men about the sustainability of this boom. He also talks to an aboriginal leader who is concerned that thousands of years of indigenous heritage is being lost as the big dig continues. This programme asks if Australia is turning itself into China's quarry of choice.
I agree the really good artifact sites should be avoided, but just because remains of a guy that died a few hundred years ago were found shouldn't stop an area being developed, white peoples cemeteries are bull dozed after 100 years in most places.

What a waste and misallocation of resources.
