Update: Looks like it is a confirmed fake by VFX artist Justin Martinez.

After watching jmart714's video entitled "Airplane Abducted By UFO: Caught On Tape" I became curious to see what information could be gleaned from closer examination. This video includes a stabilization, stabilization with zoom, motion comparison as well as an inverted stabilized zoom. I hope this helps those interested get a better look at what is going on. I am eager to see what other's make of it.

For posterity's sake I have included the untouched footage at the end of the video, as well as jmart714's original description below.

jmart714's description:

"The airplane was approaching Davis Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson Arizona at approximately 4:15PM MST on August 8th, 2009. We first witnessed the object hovering in a locked position, southwest of the base. We thought it was a balloon, until it dropped in elevation a few thousand feet in less then a second. At that point I ran inside and grabbed my digital camera and rushed outside in time to catch the object approaching the airplane from behind. Unfortunately the microphone barely works on the camera, from being dropped so many times, so you can't hear much. But at least there is a little. The object made no sound, completely silent.

There was an attempt to take the video to the media, unfortunately, every affiliate rejected the video due to lack of evidence. There was no report in the city of a missing airplane, nor did the Air Force Base report anything missing. Many of the news affiliates did confirm that they had received calls on August 8th from various sources, claiming they had seen a UFO. They said that they receive calls on a regular basis dealing with UFOs all the time, as well as many hoax videos, and there was no reason to believe my video was anything different. They refused to believe that the Air Force base would withhold information about a missing airplane.

I'm hoping that more videos surface to confirm this object was real. We live within a mile of the base, so I don't know how many people witnessed the event."

  • By the way, the bird thing makes me laugh. It really did take off right as the plane went behind the house. I think it's funny that people called it fake, just because a bird took off. Weird coincidence, and it wasn't even an effect.

  • i saw UFOs like 3 times within just 4months this year.. we saw those UFOs having a "formation" as we call it, just last week.. luckily, i taped it,, unfortunately my cousin accidentally deleted it when she borrowed my digital camera..hate it.

btw, i saw it here in the philippines.

  • @Puck2442 Airliner sized dragonflies? Now that would be scary haha.

  • @salvadory It is clear whatever we are looking at passed behind the house. Do you realize how big your dragonflies would have to be to even be seen at that distance?

    Try again.

  • @dbaca148 No problem. Finding out what is behind each video simply brings everyone closer to the truth. A million hoaxes won't change the validity of a real video, but it might hurt our reception of it.

  • @Justinger. I see it now. I did CRTL "F" to search for jmart and only found the one posting. After trying it again today I see where he added the effects. Thanks for pointing it out.

  • @dbaca148 You are right, the username is jmart714 His name is J Martin. If you cared to keep reading the comments he has posted at least 4 times. In one post I ask him what software he used and he replies, "Yes, After Effects was used. The plane is real, and the UFO was added later. The UFO is just a photoshop still... It's the meanest way to test a program ever. But that's all it was. Now it's something else. Ha ha."

  • @Justinger The guy who posted this is named jmart714, NOT "jMartin. By the way, jmart714 replied to this 1 TIME and DID NOT admit to faking it. I think this is real...and your analysis does not prove anything.

  • lmao that was me and my brother playing with toys, wada go jake

  • lol i wonder 1 thing bout this video...

what about the people in the plane

  • Ufo's are made in China :)
