There's bigger differencies among individual humans than among individual animals, it's genetic. Some people are above animals, some are bellow, the latter is called bullies or fascists. There will be always conflicts in this world, never harmony, but wars, as special kind of conflicts, are organized crimes led by the worst among us, who should never rule and do whatever they please. We should never put all people in the same basket.

The human war of the ancient times may have resembled an animal.

Of course, I cannot say it natural.

I Love Martial Art as a sport an art a competition and as self defense but war started from someones Opinion. Someone who had alot of power.

As you say, An individual can enjoy martial arts.

However, as for the war happen by

"politics"or "an interest" or "a plot".

It is completely different from personal martial arts.

Perhaps next war may happen in future by lack of food and water "instead of right of oil or difference of religion".

A scientific guess - the causes of war are in abnormal psychology. War is not normal. People do not react well to war. It is not normal. And we are much better at psychology than ever before.

Stresses cause war, or the way humans react to stresses. With a better understanding of psychology we may learn to teach a better way.
