This was a 1956 feature film that was supposed to emulate Walt Disney's popular "Davy Crockett". Filmed in Mexico, and one of Bruce Bennett's last starring features, it's a good little film...especially Lon Chaney's appearance as "Chief Blackfish" and Kem Dibbs' villainous "Simon Girty".
