the sound and the soul of an handwired point-to-point boutique amp, alnico speaker, probably almost tone heaven. this amp has an huge headroom, a lot of decibels and clean sound reserve. he sounds fantastic direct, but he also loves pedals

now I've posted a new video with some changes:

amp cames exentially from a Weber kit with some upgrades, you can also listen this amp in my other video (hear my train coming Jimi Hendrix cover)

  • the JTM 45 is the best marshall ever made

  • I've been tweaking my JTM45 for 3 years now. I can tell you have very little knowledge about electronics. Some of the cheaper transformers can sound better the the ones made by mercury magnetics. Its all marketing and what really counts is what your ears like. I find that carbon comp resistors really don't do much but add noise except the NFB circuit and nothing beats the original mustard caps. Alnico speakers are great for clean/chimmy, round/creamy but lack the crunch of ceramic speakers
