Lars Ulrich interview in Finland 1992 Part 1

The Danish-born Ulrich considers the band's success secret of the fact that it has followed the instincts. According to him, the music must not be forced, produced. "We will certainly do something right, because the other bands is following our footprint."

Yhtyeen rumpalin Lars Ulrichin mukaan vaikeinta tien päällä on säilyttää innostuneisuus ja inspiroituneisuus. "Lavalla on helpointa, koska yleisöstä virtaa energiaa", hän kertoo.

Tanskalaissyntyinen Ulrich arvioi yhtyeen suosion salaisuutena sen, että se on seurannut vaistojaan. Hänen mukaansa musiikki ei saa olla pakotettua, tuotettua. "Teemme varmasti jotain oikein, koska muut bändit seuraavat jalanjälkiämme."
