We flew the hawk, 3 channel RC plane, all the way into the cloud until it was outa sight. We think the cloudbase was approx 1,000 feet on this day. The plane was realy wet when we landed, but otherwise fine. Camera still works fine too.

How long did it take to build your cofidence to fly that height. Is it easier at higher heights?

did the same thing with my rc plane, great feeling when u finally get it in the clouds, have it on video on my channel..UNFORTUNATELY MY SECOND ATTEMPT AT FLYING IN CLOUDS RESULTED IN A FLY A WAY PLANE. When it entered the clouds, i pushed down on the elevator and it never came back. I held down on the elevator all the way home looking up in the sky :(

Thanx nish. Very soggy plane indeed, but was fun to do. Great relief when it eventually came spiraling out of the cloud.
