This is my dog "Ty Weenie Baby" standing her ground with my neighbors Pit Bull, "Sasake". She is a tough little dog. You can see she has her tail tucked because she isn't really playing as much as she is defending her favorite toy, and she really doesn't know or trust him yet... but she is standing up for herself! These dogs were bred to hunt badgers!! "Badgers? We don't need no stinking Badgers!"

  • And it works! You got a doxie and you ain't got no stinking badgers, do you!

  • Nope! And it's hard to believe they can be so tenacious because she is the sweetest dog I have ever seen... until another dog messes with her toy while she is fetching it!

  • @knitter4years really pitbull usually look down on smaller dogs, I know mine does.

  • that pitbull is playing so nice with then weener. Mine would fling that little guy around.

  • Good looking Piebald mini ya got there. Altho minis were bread to hunt rabbits and rodents. The full size dachshunds were bread to take down badgers. Right now I have a black and tan piebald and a red brindle piebald, back are minis.

  • OMMMFFFGGGG Ty Weenie is soooooo cute! I have never seen a white doxin! Go check out my Baby blue nose diesel and my dachshund dog jambi!

    Thanks Lexz

  • That's hilarious! You can tell Sasake tried to pull out all the stops and it still didn't work. I have a doxie too. They are the funniest dogs ever. :-) Pretty dogs, by the way.

  • My Dachshund rules all dogs in our home, and he's always with 2 pit bull terriers. He thinks they are his subjects.

  • I love how little dogs make just one grip attempt and then commit to it. Shows they actually consider the risks of losing by going for a better grip, very smart.

    2 great looking dogs there.

  • that's like my mini dachshund when we try to take her squeaky toys away XD

  • My dachshund plays the same way with my sister's pitbull...these little dogs are fearless!

BTW we used to have a gopher problem in our yard, but our dachshund took care of that too!

  • thats soo cute!!! :)
