  • To me, there is no soul in this interpretation. It's obvious when you have listened Alfred Deller singing it.

  • Magnífico! Que voz maravilhosa e angelical ele tem! é lindo! Explêndido!Encantador!

  • pianist plays very strange...

  • il a une voie de femme Oo

  • to me, the pianist sounds like hes had one to many ... Jaroussky smashes it on the Harpsichord ... go listen !!!

  • @CAROLIVERDI Unless poor technique settles in...then it will only get worse. It's hard to tell with young singers and demanding performance schedules until too late, in most cases.

  • alfred deller ...kick ass...jaroussky ._.

  • What a graceful ornamentation. I love countertenors... if I were a guy I might want to be one... His accent is lovely - there, but not distracting or detracting from his beautiful tone.

  • @skingaz Andreas Scholl also goes quite high... I suppose they could be called male sopranos, or, as one of the key-words says, sopranists.

  • the piano part is so poorly played ...but Phillippe is great...and for all of you who are wondering: Castrato?...etc...bla bla: he is a coutertenor...(there, you've learned something new for today)
