Guys, although there is not a "standard" way of using chopsticks as long as you find most comfortable, the way she holding and using chopstick isn't right or proper. Especially in culture term, you should use both middle and index finger when picking up food. and also in this way, it is deemed most effective and stable. But don't worry if you don't agree with this "proper" way, loads of Chinese or Japanese people can't use chopsticks "properly" as well.

@webcamfan2569 I was just kidding. I can use chopsticks now, so everything is fine. But a lot of these videos are misleading. Like saying one stick "rests" there, no it doesn't. The only way I was able to learn to pick up rice with chopsticks was by squeezing the chopsticks, and then my ring finger does not come into play at all. I can use them in other ways now that I have the dexterity but my preferred method still has only 3 fingers gripping the chopsticks. I didn't really click dislike, btw.

when i was lttle and my family went to a chinses food shop to eat dinner, they gave us chopsticks to eat. i just stared at them and began stabbing my food with one chopstick and then shovling it into my mouth. Now, Im the only one in my family that can use chopsticks to eat fodd while the rest of my family uses forks >;3
