COVEN ~ 'Lady O' for Jinx

My first video: an offering of thanx, for many years of beautiful sounds, to my friend Jinx Dawson. This is "Lady O", by Jinx's groundbreaking occult rock band Coven. I strung together key images of Jinx and Coven and their iconography to weave the story of "Lady O"... whoever she may be. This song by rights should have been a huge hit. It appears on Coven's classic 1974 album, Blood on the Snow.

Congratulations Mr Covert. and thanks for this nice collage, 5 stars. i m a big fan of Coven since i heard them 7 years ago. ( was very hard find some coven info in these days)...in my humble opinon they re the origin of all..Hail the Goth Queen..

thank you so much. it was tough to get info on what had become of the band several years ago. but lucky for us, the Goth Queen has opened her vaults to show how groundbeaking - and beautiful - Coven's musick is. Ave Jinx!

She is really ageless:-) Have you got any picture or photo of Jinx in 2008/09 ? And, please, do you know what similarity is between Ozzy Osbourne and bassist of Coven Oz Osbourne? I mean Oz Osbourne is his real name? Sorry, I'm not from the UK, or US, so i have no idea abou your surnames or names:-) and sorry, for my bad english, I am still learning...

no problem, i understand you fine. the Oz/ Ozzy thing is something i still haven't quite figured out. i'm still trying to sync up Coven's timeline & Black Sabbath's. in the video at 1:07 you'll see Jinx in January 2008. 2 or 3 more shots are from 2006-2009, but i can't recall which is most recent (even though she told me, i forgot..). thanx for the comments!

My brother had this album but it was stolen..somehow weird to think this song on the same album with the heavy riff-laden title song. Fleetwood Mac had huge hits with songs in this style couple of years later.
