At 2:48 - this is the very beginning of his well known oration.
If you want to know what he really thought, the best to do is to read it.
In very truth, Pico was an Averroist, an adherent of the doctrine of the "double truth". To speak more simply: he was a pupil of the true esoteric teaching of the ancients.
Pico's classicism means this: he had nothing in common with his time. He had everything in common with Socrates.
-
Given his sympathy with both Aristotle's contention that unity and being are co-extensive and the Scholastic view that truth is the sum of all true propositions, Pico may be placed on the side of the peripatetics.
But he sought to reconcile Aristotle with Plato. In fact, he he sought to reconcile Hermes, Zoroaster and Orpheus with Plato and Aristotle.

Socrates was the Lord of Those Who Know

Absolutely fits with the Eastern Philosophy and negate the outdated Christian teachings. This is the spiritual part of Christianity, The real Christianity.

He does not say we are gods.
In response to IMBUED.. I am quoting from the Psalms.
"They have not known, and they do not understand; In darkness they keep walking about; All the foundations of the earth are made to totter.
I myself have said, 'You are gods, And all of you are sons of the Most High." - Psalms 82:5
Every church is a stone on the grave of a god-man: it does not want him to rise up again under any circumstances.
