The tax breaks were TEMPORARY. Allowing something to expire which was set to expire by the people (Republicans) who created it is not "raising taxes". The Repubs could have passed a smaller, permanent tax cut but decided to hide the cost of a much bigger one by making it temporary with a plan of making it permanent later.

Only 3% of small businesses making over $250K are being taxed at a personal tax rate. Asking those who can afford to pay to pay is not "absurd"; it's common sense.

It won't be up to him to let the current tax rate expire, but the lame duck congress. I'm sure he has the same position as most democrats which is only to raise taxes on the wealthy, which I think is fair.

Does he support allowing the current tax rates to expire? If he does, then he does indeed support massive tax increases on small businesses no matter what his website says. Small businesses are taxed at the individual rate for their gross income - very little of which may actually get to the business owner - but to Democrats, they are "rich" and must have their taxes raised. Absurd beyond absurd - but the basis of Democrat tax policy.

Rather simplistic view - obviously just parroting talking points. It was a combination of not regulating derivates and overregulating other areas of the economy and allowing GSEs to run amock...and forcing banks to make risky loans by force of law among what caused the 2008 crash. We now have too much regulation keeping us in a mess.

She may be from MN but she is talking about the impact of Federal laws on her business that the candidate they are attacking supposedly supports.

Looks like most of the ads they run are to help Republicans, but not all. One of their most recent ads uploaded is one they are running in support of Rep. John Barrow (D-GA)

Why use the same person in a bunch of adds against many different people running in elections in different parts of California this is just bad , fraudulent , and who is the US Chamber? obviously a front group for the Republicans.

Mark Takano specifically is an advocate for offering tax breaks to small businesses, check his website. How far off can an ad get? Tavaglione should be embarrassed that such a 2nd rate ad was put out on his behalf.

She's from Minnesota, how is she really relevant to the people of CALIFORNIA district 41 other than looking like a puppet on all of these USCC ads that are for deregulation of important facets of the economy which is what got us into this damn mess... makes me sick as a proud resident of Riverside and I'm sick of Tavaglione too he's a damn fraud and would hurt Riverside even further if he gains even more power
