Ray, I wrote you when I was 17 in 1959 because I had just discovered DARK CARNIVAL in an old book store. I recognized your name and the style of your writing from the EC Comic books of 1952 so I bought it. It changed my life and I realized only then that some, writers take you into their world and share visions. You did that. I wrote you to ask you if I sent the book would you please sign it. You wrote back with a beautiful letter and a sheet already signed. I still have it. Thanks again.

Bradbury is my soulmate writer. He brings joy to my heart and I really feel like I've found a friend in him. His life's work is irreplacable. Thank you, Mr Bradbury!

Fahrenheit 451 has the most beautiful ending to any book I've ever read. Whenever I feel bad about humanity, I always think of Granger's speech at the end of the novel. R.I.P. Braddbury

Yup. Really. It's in my extensive Arkham House collection. Looked at it the other day. Still sends me back to my youthful bedroom late at night with a flashlight. Brrrrr
