One of the worlds most vibrant bicycle scenes is found in the car capital of the world, Los Angeles.
Every month hundreds of bicyclists converge on some of the most famous streets of the city and exert their right to the road.
The LA Bike Culture is not just about environmentalism, the energy crisis and the weak dollar...it's about partying! A rolling party that is. LA Critical Mass differs from the more aggressive and militant Mass rides in other cities. The LA bicyclists really enjoy themselves and show the drivers that you can have fun, save money on gas, and look good all at the same time.

i was boarding the red line metro with a bike today and some cyclist asked me if i was going to critical mass..
i was like wtf is that!!
i guess i know where i will be every last Friday of the month!!!

In the UK petrol is $10 / gallon and our average income is well below that of the U.S.
