Raw Footage From Creole Segment of My Documentary: The Descendants of Africa

Very raw footage of one of many interviews in the "Creole" segment of my documentary. Mrs. Borders of New Orleans tells us what a "Creole" is... Hoping to resume filming in Latin America this year. I was so inspired by the Louisiana Creoles that I wrote a play about them to share their little known unique history and contributions called "Blood Makes The Red River Flow". I am presently working on bringing it to the stage here in NYC. The play is drama about blood lines and ancestry and pride. It opens in circa 1961 in New Orleans then flashbacks to the 1800's on the Red River. I have decided to play one of the roles and currently fundraising to present this play for Black History Month. Well done! Yep, Louisiana Creoles are those born and raised in Louisiana with a specific heritage and culture, add the indigenous peoples from a variety of Louisiana tribes of Native Americans and or the immigrants called Acadiens and you have all the ingredients of the Louisiana people. Some are more of one and some of none, but all share the same culture. Treux dat!
