A Campbell Cane could be an interesting senior defense device. I was asked last year about designing a cane that could be functional, artistic and defensive. The latest design fits this description. I was involved in martial arts in the 60's..now I am way over 60. I would not want to be on the other end.

You think that everyone on Earth is selfish. Yes. I would want to be put in a home. Because there will be several younger people that will get to work late because I'm taking my sweet time crossing the fuckin' street. Or I'll get sick with cancer or some other terminal disease, and anchor my family with the burden of having to watch over and hope that my old, decrepit body can fight off something irreversible. -.- Seriously, old people suck. And I will get there too.

I'd still kick the shit out of this old bag. The elderly need to be put in homes, not dojos. Old people only cause problems for society. Sometimes I fantasize about hitting them with my car. :]

I've trained and taught for many years and this is one common day item that I have advised people that can be used when needed.I call this a dual purpose item.

not really, thats a legitimate defense method. its a kung fu weapon. this is way different that the original kung fu form but it is effective
