  • Phyllis and Patti where friends...why compare the to? Both are from Philadelphia......great singers come from there. Dont compare the 2 of them both are great in there own ways.

  • they are both great in their own right; posessing skills unique to the both of them; quit whining.

  • A 'tribute' doesn't mean that all Phylis Hyman's songs have to be covered. They are singing these songs in her memory. It doesn't mean that they all have to be hers. Just a reflection of what she had: a lot of soul, but also a lot of sadness.

  • I think their real bogus for making people think that this was about Ms Hyman when in actuality they only gave her a few seconds........REAL FOUL!!!!

  • Well yeah, i guess that is why i said what I said, u r right cammicty! you are right on that.

  • Well they're not bad in singing, just not Phyllis! I'm confused it's called tribute to Phyllis ! lol

  • God bless all of the singers in this video, but God forgive me, they have to be the WORST singers I have ever heard, the two guys toward the end can barely keep on tune. The only one who has any talent at all is the female who is singing Jill Scotts Long Walk. Sorry folks I guess I am just too picky when it comes to jazz and blues singers! Oh and yeah, these folks all give me hope for my career, ha!

  • Great Tribute

  • I ,ust spoke of you yesterday, when I was praising the Lord about the wonderful sisters in my life! And here about the same time you had left me a note, I will be in touch. Best Phyliss!!!

  • It's so nice to know that these talented people care enough about these artist to tribute them with such care and love. We have enough talented artists not to bicker about whose talent outshined one anothers. There is enogh pie for all the invited guests.
