How much did it cost to take off the black?

Great job removing the backing. What did you use to get the finish off the back? I have a Studio that needs to be stripped as well. It's like Gibson is dipping them in Tootsie Pop. Any help appreciated. How does the neck feel btw? Is it a true 50's log or does it taper at all? Thanks BW keep up the jams! Love your chops.

Got a gold top coming...I'll have to think about that one. I like the rings and covers. They say you should solder them to keep from vibrating.

Could i rip the black back off the back of the vintage sunburst one to get the binding sort of look on the body?

The guitar is pretty much seems to have the same finish as high level of Gibsons, the most expensive. I'm about to buy a '50s. Thank you for Review
