Picton - Stay A While

As we whizzed through Kaikoura to here we decide and so does our timing that we can stay a couple of days and catch up on ourselves, with work and rest. We find another lovely motel and Rob returns to an old favorite hostel of his. Classically Picton is normally seen by people going or arriving by the Interislander ferry for what is the briefest of times before the head back to Wellington and the North Island or arrive and shoot off to Nelson and the South Island. So we felt it just and proper to give Picton more than a fleeting glance out of the car window -- which is what we did on our arrival to the South Island a couple of weeks ago.
