I think my all time favorite dialogue from any Clint movie is in The Outlaw Josie Wales when Clint say to Chief Dan George '' When ever I get to liking someone their not around long'' to which Chief Dan replies '' I've noticed whenever you get to disliking someone their not around long either''. I think that's pretty close to verbaitum.

Easily my favourite Clint movie. Full of amazing lines and scenes. I think my favourite line is "Because I ain't got nothin' better to do." Followed closely by Fletcher's "Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining."

While I do love the Dirty Harry character and have all of the movies on DVD, one o fmy favorite movie lines still has to be from the "Lethal Weapon" series, in which the Mel Gibson character says,
"You have the right to remain unconscious, anything you say ain't gonna be much."

Politically, sadly, he seems to follow the trajectory of the old American cinema greats. Ford, Hawks. But still one amazing director and actor. How many generations of peoples individual histories is his face stamped upon?

This is on a par with his "Dying aint much of a living boy."

Thanks -- it's pretty clear he _means " A man's g.t.k.h.l," -- but I can still only hear (and see "m.g.t.k.h.l.") !
