That's because I didn't know what it meant until you told me, just an approximate context for its use. And if you really want to be pedantic / informative, then disappointment has one "s" and two "t"s, and embarrassment an "s" rather than an "ed".
Glad I am not the only one! My 3+ year old Araucana just started doing the same thing. So odd! Is your still crowing, or did she eventually stop?

i have a cockerel, hes a light sussex 5 months old, can u tell me when he's goin to be able to mate and be fertile? and also, is it possible to STOP him crowing or reduce the crowing somehow? thanks.
