This is an attempt to build a very small semi-automatic Morse code key. It is magnetically tensioned and has an internal pendulum. While it's not quite the world's smallest bug, it does come close, and it can be used as effectively as a conventional bug. Visit http://wb9lpu.googlepages.com for more information.

  • Hello wb9lpu since I have written over and over again both publicly and private messages to your channel ..... you never responded ...!!! maybe you are not very nice .........!!!????

  • @dariotao1

Hello, Dario. I am sorry that I am late in answering my email; I did not mean to offend. Your comments arrive in my mailbox (gmail) with all the instructions written in Italian. My Italian is not good, and I am not aware of how to make a private reply. But I am pretty sure that I am a nice person. If I understand your recent question correctly, I am not able at this time to offer the key for sale - possibly in the future, when the design is perfected, I will be able to.

  • This is exactally what I've been looking for to take with me to the park when I go QRP with the K3! Perfection to say the least!

  • Hi, Notforchat - Thanks for kind words. However, it is not perfection - there are now Nanobugs I, II and III, and the PicoBug I (even smaller). Some will be coming to YouTube soon - see my web page.
