Dear Friend, Thank you for commenting on this slideshow. Unfortunately, we are not Hmong, and we do not understand Hmong. We would appreciate your posting your comment in English. Thank you. --Ken and Visakha Kawasaki

  • is this Ban Vinai now ? or is it pictures from the old days? cuz i remeber that Ban Vinai from the old days has brick houses not bamboo houses.

  • @phxv These photos were taken between 1980 and 1990. We do not recall any brick house.

  • Thank you for posting this slideshow my friends. It brings back a lot of memories. I lived there for two years and left to the U.S. in '81. I was 8 at then. Thanks again.

  • @maaaaiy And finally at roads 5&9. These places were the places for the youngsters in the town of Vinai which we miss and cherish. When I think of it my tears fall down"

  • @brelief Please excuse my translation for it may not be fully correct but to my knowledge this is what it says. " My young friends from the town Vinai. The most missed moments or times were of when the young boys and girls would fall in love, and become boyfriend and girlfriend. Our most cherished places were 5. The first was when the road#4 met up with 5&9. The second was at 10 bath mountain. Third at the edge of town where road#1 turned to road 3&8. the fourth being at roads 7&8
