@lukeyboy10001 Hal Roach had a very gifted stable of talents...he also had The Little Rascals too. These comedies are timeless, are as popular now as they ever were, and it's is a testament to their true value.
I myself am sad that these 2 fine individuals are no longer with us, but time waits for noone, and hopefully I (and the rest of us) will see them again someday, arguing and goofing around while St. Peter shakes his head and says "Oh NO, not again," LOL Love ya' Stan and Ollie!
There's a moment, I think it's this film which ranks as one of the funniest things I've seen when Stan and Oliver are on garbage duty for bungling their drill. In their naivete, the 2 chumps think they're supposed to leave the garbage in the General's office. Neddless to say he's pretty cheesed off (James Finlayson of course!) when he finds out. I laugh trying to imagine what he must be thinking, because their behaviour is inexplicable
This is an amazing film from Laurel and Hardy, I love it when they end up in the army and are so completely incapable of doing anything right (as is the case with everything) lol brilliant comedy duo

This is why they're so funny.
Stan trying to make his eyes go crazy and he finally does but then can't stop them and starts crying in fear.
Do that again!
The baseball and baseball bat scene.
