  • curious question - i can understand the flywheel, but why a "stage 2 competition clutch" on a low torque integra? that just seems like youre straining your left leg (and wallet) for not much benefit.

  • @10eleven

competition clutch is the brand name of the clutch . I bought the stage 2 because since I was doing a lot of maintenance on my car at the time, I decided to switch at the same time and decided might as well do it up with something more benefit to me and stronger than the previous clutch. Competition Clutch's stage 2 clutch actually doesn't put strain on your leg when you press on the clutch =D

  • your stage 2 "check engine" light is on lmao

  • haha. good one =p

  • light weight flywheels add no horse they only decrease rotational mass and 0-60 is virtually the same. my 95 maxima could smoke your integra what are you puttin to the wheels?

  • well of course your maxima is gonna smoke me if it has a more powerful engine compared to my small 4 cylinder.

and 0-60 virtually the same? you answered your own question there buddy. decreased rotational mass = slightly increased acceleration which means the its not virtually the same i would think o.O

  • I like how everyones car is "better" and "faster". seek and you shall find...

  • @10eleven some mecanic friends explain the stage 1 clutch is almost the same a oem clutch so no difference between the oem and stage 1

  • @modsasuke Not for all, I have the "Stage 3" Exedy clutch and pressure plate for my GSX and its way harder to push and hold down. As for my 97 Accord I had a "Stage 2" with a lightened flywheel with no difference in clutch pressure.

  • it sounded like u were ordering chinese

  • naw it dosnt mater what stage it is.... hydrolic clutches all day keeps the tired leg away....honestly i have a stage two in the same type of car....the gass pedal in my dodge is harder to press then the clutch in my integra.....if anyone was wondering yes my dodge is a v-8 thank you...

  • Real slow throttle response if you ask me I don't think it was worth the money... and I just love the term "stage 2" sounds like something from Grand Turismo.... maybe a turbo would help... the light flywheel on a N/A motor seems like it would steal torque by taking away rotational mass.... it would make a healthy engine rev faster

  • Yea i know this car is pile's your right man...... What's it cost?. 1,300 dollar's lol

  • Piles....
