The Beast

I made this for THAC8 (The eighth annual twenty four hour animating contest, hosted on bricksinmotion.com) however it wasn't finished until about half an hour past the deadline, thereby disqualifying it. Oh well, there'a always next year.

Also this is my first attempt as greenscreening Lego. Note I'm not totally happy about the overall quality of this, but considering it was made from concept to the final render in 24.5 hours, I can live with it.

Filmed with a Logitech Quickcam Pro at 24fps (the speed of clips was edited). I used Dragon Stop Motion for frame capture.

Wow, I wonder what place this would be put if you entered this in time! The story is much more unique than many brickfilmers that I see, it's personal and has more emotion. Nice job.
