This happened when Illinois passed the exact same law. Why did California think it would be different. What a nut job for a governor Jerry Brown is.
-
Gov Brown seems to think that consumers should pay more taxes for the problems that career Politicians have made. Amazon has made more revenue indirectly for the state of California, without paying state tax. Now take away the affiliate program and watch the state revenue be reduced.

It's time to wake up and smell the coffee. Know your government, they affect your everyday life. Amazon did the right thing, the internet MUST remain free of taxation.
Those who lost business because of Gov Brown, need to write him and the CA gov reps and let them know that this law is wrong.

ya ! I don't get it. Amazon has nothing to do with the tax. Californians are the ones paying the tax from our pockets. I sent a nasty e mail to amazon trying to figure out why they didn't find a more kind solution to their loyal affiliates. Shame on Amazon. Sorry I spend 30% of my income on their products. so far I deleted amazon from my system and no longer search amazon products or navegate amazon site.

@rebirthbyvianale my buddy was saying you can still be an affiliate for Amazon, you just have to get a P.O. Box in Nevada and use that as your residential address and you're cake.
