do me a favor, look up classical liberalism on google, classical liberalism correlates to liberty, modern liberalism relates to banning soda and cigarettes because we wouldnt want anyone to be free and possibly endanger themselves. modern liberalism is anti-liberty and pro nanny state. conservatives tend to accept fiscal liberty and Libertarians are truly pro-liberty

Again, WHY call someone that in THE FIRST PLACE? One option is because you want to confuse 'freedom' (liber-ty and being liber-al) with leftism. That way you are able to crush natural lawful freedoms whilst pandering and seducing those who otherwise believe in them - under the name of being 'conservative'. Thus twisting 'conservatism' to be about anything other than freedom - whilst leftists haven't changed in any way. Know the games propagandists play with you when you see them, is all I say.
