A Norfolk-Southern freight train travels north through Worthington, Ohio on May 3, 2008. The double tracked NS crosses the single tracked CSX just behind Harding Hospital in Worthington. The Norfolk Southern tracks were originally layed in 1893, and were part of the Pennsylvania Railroad Sandusky Line. The CSX tracks date back to 1851, and were part of the New York Central System. • The crossing between the double tracked NS and single tracked CSX is located just south of State Rt. 161 in Worthington, Ohio. On the west side of the tracks is the former Harding Hospital. On the east side of the tracks is Robert Poste Lake, and on the other side of the lake is Sinclair Road.
