In this how-to video:

- I add my own codes to a cheat list, and briefly show them in effect. Thrilling, isn't it?

For SNES9X, the 1st code has to be entered in manually. After that, you can do what I did and copy/paste the rest if you want. Oh, and I'm pressing the Enter key to add the codes for ZSNES (up until the last one. I entered it by pressing the add button, which is what I should've been doing up to that point :p).

.......I only did this so if I get another PM asking how to add the codes, I can point them to this.

One more thing: If my codes don't work, I'll double check them to make sure they do, because sometimes I mess something up or overlook an unwanted side effect, or something along those lines. It happens. Not very often, but it happens.
If they do work for me, but not at all for you, either you're not using the US version of the game (unless specified, I almost always use the US version), or you're not entering the codes correctly. I'm saying this because I've had a couple of people tell me my codes don't work at all, only for them to work when I send them a .cht file (it's what you get when you save your cheats so you don't have to add them every time you load up your game). As for sending .cht files? Not doing it anymore.

  • Could you tell me how to use the game genie on SNES9x on the ps3? Thank you

  • I've never used that version of SNES9x. Does the cheat utility look similar to the one in the video?

  • So for big codes you would put them both seperate? btw im using ZSNES

  • Correct.

  • @xMrNx I use ZSNES, as you know already, but when I enter the codes, save, play the game, close ZSNES and re-open it, the codes are gone and I have to re-type them all. Why?

  • Did you click the save button to save your cheats? If not, click it so it'll save them to a .cht file. If so, is the "Auto-load .cht file at game load" box checked? If not, you'll have to click the load button to load your cheats.
