FumeFX Explosion Javelin Tank Strike

This is my first effects shot. I constructed it using 3ds Max 9, FumeFx, Photoshop and After Effects.The background was created with a combination of reference pics using Photoshop. My main aim was to achieve a realistic explosion effect and comp it on top of a live action/photo plate. That's where most of my time was spent, learning how to use FumeFx. Hope you like it

@Flyguy779 no! you need a lot of money for the program you see in descriptions. But there are some nice free Open-source programs that are very cool. For example Blender etc.

@ShermohammadSafi i really agree with you man, also i recommend him to bring higher the expansion... and other thing.. i really do not like the fire in the core of explosion.. it is very unrealistic.. and also rises up in very bad time.. explosion is good but the fire.. lol.. looks like.. maybe 30x30x30x resolution :D

Yeah! they are right The smoke Seems Fake At the end! and another problem I noticed in this was that when explosion happens at the first the fuel goes real quick and then dissipates! so, bring your burn rate as mych as you can! and not to forget let the explosion have a lil a bit glow when it comes out!
