been there done that... you wouldn't even get a face-on interview if you dont pass their insane phone tech interviews and programming tests. Right now "experience" in some language is not enough, you gota know it at professional level, although usually mastering C++ is enough (unless its some web development junk)
If someone really wanted to do software development, they would be doing it. Most top coders learnt software dev in their own time. The professional qualifications are just icing on the cake, not the cake itself.
@xThexMaXx c/c++ would die with the whole computer industry...and microsoft can rule only the bussiness market for any other devices personal computers, mobile phone and tablets, microsoft has only a small percentage...
I need to show this to my boyfriend! he works at Microsoft as a software developer and would love it :)
