  • I need to show this to my boyfriend! he works at Microsoft as a software developer and would love it :)

  • @Melvinsts You think VB and C# are the same? They are almost completely different :S

  • Yeah, Question Why company required the two languages as Visual Basic and C# ? , as others say they are the same since Net Framework exist ?

  • @Andy0n7 well wake up because it's taking over....hope you like xaml, html5, and REST. Hell at this point I think knowing javascript is enough :P

  • been there done that... you wouldn't even get a face-on interview if you dont pass their insane phone tech interviews and programming tests. Right now "experience" in some language is not enough, you gota know it at professional level, although usually mastering C++ is enough (unless its some web development junk)

  • @drawmaster77 ok, you got me :)

I would if I learned it on the job. I guess I would probably start using MS Windows as well at that point.

  • @r3bol and if they pay ver very well and dont ask much of you? ;)

  • I wouldn't work in a company that wanted me to know VB and C#.

  • If someone really wanted to do software development, they would be doing it. Most top coders learnt software dev in their own time. The professional qualifications are just icing on the cake, not the cake itself.

  • @xThexMaXx c/c++ would die with the whole computer industry...and microsoft can rule only the bussiness market for any other devices personal computers, mobile phone and tablets, microsoft has only a small percentage...
