  • That's the funny part about this band! You had one of the biggest Kansas fans in the world playing drums and a guy who played electric violin and they refused to play any Kansas. I begged and pleaded with them but alas it was not to be!

  • WHOA! Shoulder pads and BIG hair! Did you guys play any Kansas songs? I notice you had a fella that played violin.

  • Dead on correct. The guy who is sitting directly in front of me owned a house and that is where we practiced. The piano is in the basement!

  • Ha ha! Yeah, I try to hide as many of the "big hair, weird clothes" pics as I can from my kids (they don't need any more ammunition!) That one picture-with you sitting on the piano- is funny, it looks like someone's basement. But those were the days!

  • I'll be honest. Yes! I wince at almost everything about my look back then but that was the style(sort of). The only thing that I, without question, wish I still had was the same weight as I did then!!! Did you see the toothpicks for ankles I had in that picture where I'm sitting on the piano? I found some cassettes of the earliest version of this band(everyone else but me is different) and some at great venues such as Sam's Crab House or the Laurel American Legion Hall. Maybe......?

  • Wow, you're taking me back now! My favorite cover band from StL used to do this song back in the 80's, too. How fun that you've got this stuff still. Love hearing it... send more along if you find more! (p.s. be honest, do you wince a little when you check out those awesome 80's hairstyles & clothes? :-) )
