Federer vs Nadal - Abu Dhabi 2011 - Final (HD) World No. 1 Rafael Nadal will go into the 2011 ATP World Tour season brimming with confidence after beating rival Roger Federer 7-6(4), 7-6(3) Saturday in the final of the Mubadala World Tennis Championship, an exhibition tournament in Abu Dhabi.

"For both of us, these are the first matches of the season. So it is special for us," said Nadal. "This is the perfect place to start the season here in Abu Dhabi."

Federer, who defeated Robin Soderling in Friday's semi-finals, lamented, "I never lost my serve, but I still lost the tournament, it's kind of tough. Rafael and myself must have played so many times and so many times it has come down to a few shots here and there. He is an amazing shot-maker. Me as well, but today he got the better of me."

I seriously don't know what the heck is wrong with people. People who hate Nadal or hate Federer. How can people say anything bad about these guys, they are amazing. WTF does tennis talent even mean? If you can continuously beat Federer over and over, wake up idiots, you have incredible tennis talent. In sports, btw, winning matters. I'm just glad to be alive in this period of time, to see these amazon athletes display their talents.

@2PacsUncle Hes ranked number 3. Thats the highest hes been ranked since 2000. He has appeared in every semi final of a grand slam. He doesn't lose that much. So No, he is not past his prime. The game didn't catch up with him, the players did.

@iGo0ch im in 2012 :P and i wrote that in almost mid night so it's suppose to say 4 days ago. just search mubadala world tennis championship on google and open the link of the website, then press on "match results" and see who was in the finals... on the same day there was a fedal match (3rd and 4th place) u can see that in the link.
