The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood was established in 1848 by a group of young painters inspired by the purity and beauty of prior art to the sixteenth century. Immersed in an industrial revolution in England and desperate for the mediocrity of the English and the academic painting of the Royal Academy of Arts, these artists sought inspiration in Shakespeare, in Tennyson, in the Bible ... and dreamed of establishing a national school of painting to break away from the conventional, to explore the nature and produce paintings that depicted reality. Their work marked the evolution of British art in the second half of the nineteenth century.

The documentary explores the work of John Everett Millais, Dante Gabriel Rossetti, Holman Hunt, Edward Burne-Jones, Frederick Leighton and Thomas Seddon.

Their paintings, elaborated using intense colors, are full of details of nature, microclimates, different perspectives, and symbols. With a thorough and detailed job, they achieve unique works of great magnetism, such as "The hot sun of June" or "The Sleep of King Arthur in Avalon. "

The film traces the exhibition at the Museo del Prado's collection of Luis A. Ferré Art Museum of Ponce (Puerto Rico).
