Video taken on the East Branch of the Penobscot River and at Millinocket Lake in the Summer of 2011. Most of the footage was taken on land offered as a donation for the proposed Maine Woods National Park. I've only seen the tip of the iceberg so far as far as the land goes, but I like what I've seen. There's beauty, large and small. There are tremendous tales of history. There is the historic East Branch of the Penobscot River, which a park would help protect forever.
For those who can, I recommend you visit the lands in question. Take some quality time. See what you think. Imagine what future generations will think. It's worth a look.
