Strange laws or "interesting facts" are only a new form of joke, usually based on irony or non sequiturs. It's similar to a your momma joke or Chuck Norris joke, in that it's easy for anyone to make up their own. Urban dictionary has been a hub for the people who like to make their own jokes, but it appears factropolis has taken the strange facts crowd.
