  • KobeForLife, I'm the owner of the 07 SS/SC, so let me explain. 1st, the video details to the right clearly state that my 07 SS/SC has GMPP Stage 2 installed (raises hp from 205hp to 245hp). 2nd, this test was on a Dynapack hub style dyno. Dynojet roller type dynos reads 8-10 percent more than a Dynapack hub style dyno (see YouTube for "Dynapack and DynoJet head to head comparison"). This test was done to show a same day/same dyno comparo of Stage 2 SS/SC vs. a stock Turbo SS. Understand?

  • @Bchaps860 Im in the same boat lmao i have an 07 ls as well (victory red ftw!) looking for either an SC or TC. To be honest man you'll probably get better resale value from the Turbo since we are now closing in on 2012.

  • @Bchaps860 09 for 15,000 is a good deal man. A Turbocharged with stage 3 is probably pushing closer to 300hp which is badass. I look on craigslist a lot man. Stealerships overprice their cars like crazy (there is an 07 SS/SC for 15,500 down the street...) i found some guy in indiana selling his Blue 05 SS/SC for $6500 lol

  • @kfootballkid What really? 8500 is such a good price! The cheapest I can find is 10,000. What website do you use? And I guess it's an 09 cobalt. So I thought it was a decent price. Its in mint condition. But if i can find a cheaper one that'd be good. Lol.

  • @Bchaps860 Haha thats how i feel too i love the supercharger whine. Is it a S/C that you found? even with stage 3 i feel like 15,000 would be way too high for a Supercharged, depending on the miles/condition of the car. There are SS/SC's around here for $8500. A stage 2 kit costs like 700 bucks. probably 1k with installation.

  • @kfootballkid True man. I know the turbo is faster but man oh man the supercharger sounds soo nice. I found a good deal where I live and this dude's selling an SS with stage 3 parts in it for 15,000! I'm about to snatch it for sure haha

  • I love Cobalts. I think their so sexy. I got an 07 LS hahah. But i'm definitely looking in to buying an SS. If I do should I get an SS Supercharged or should I get the turbo?

  • @Atothe19J

lol i bet it would buddy.

  • My 97 z24 would smoke a ss

  • Not bashing either one. Parasitic loss is a bitch with sc. Turbos take time to spool. Solution? Compound boosting..look it up.

  • Cobalt ss tc muffler delete sounds awesome for 50 bucks weld a straight pipe and tip back in so it looks normal and it's fantastic
