Mark brings his old scat cat out of retirement with a fresh trim scheme and a new engine (Its an old engine, but was rebuilt and sold to Mark from Dale who is from SaltyDog Productions). Engine is a YS 45 Pump rear exhaust. This plane is a speed demon and even with some more tuning, it can achieve beastmaster speed rating (lol I just made that up). I have one of these planes, been hanging in the garage for the past 10 years. Flew it twice now - 155mph by the clock.

Fuck! Has this bloke ever head of a starting stand?This should be titled "How NOT to Start an engine".I can just see the plane bucking and the prop cutting his forearm tendons,muscles,arteries and nerves being torn to shreds.I've had an industrial accident that severed my hand tendons,nerves etc and can tell you that they take ages to heal.9 months and I'm still fucked.A year is the minimum recovery time.Irresponsible video.

What prop are you running? Also what is your header length and overall system length?

Ony 12.5K on the rpms, I have my y.s turning 18K on a nitro pipe, 40% nitro and a 8.75.8nn APC. My scat cat running around 140

What engine are you running? I just had a Scat Cat rebuilt/covered and putting a YS .45 with a tuned pipe on it. We were trying to estimate how fast it would be. Awesome video!!
