Emirates was the first airline to offer PTV's to passengers in all classes regardless of class of service onboard an A310. VS shortly followed.

PIA was not the first airline to introduce in flight movies - it was Air France who screened a movie on a Lockheed Constellation in 1951. Sorry...your information is incorrect.

Actually reading a book I have, inflight entertainment was in flights like the Ford tri-motor, as they played silent films. For reasons that the props were to loud in the cabin back then
