@dp1569 For non advanced trainees thats true- but for someone as skilled and practiced as Pat he is able to load tension onto the legs, hips very quickly and do this safely. Its also practice for the clean.

Personally this would destroy my knees. I'm not sayin its dangerous for everyone, but some people (like myself) have knees that are more susceptible to injury IMO. I think probably because I'm on the lankier side.

For those who can squat 600pounds x5 so easily, in all probability they know what they are doing. So the comments on how dangerous this is, needs to stop. I'm sure he knows what his stuff.
