George Galloway talks to ignorant, gun-ho father of soldier.

Considered by George Galloway as one of the most extrodinary telephone conversation he ever had since starting his show in 2006, he talks to a father of a soldier, whom he claims that he came back from Afghanistan after doing his tour of duty there.

The caller, who had served 12 and a half years in the army, claims that virtually everyone in the UK believes that Iran has the possession of WMDs and therfore advocates military action in Iran (Simply put: He is for war in Iran). Galloway pointed out that not even psycho George W. Bush or Israel has made false claims that Iran has WMDs.

Galloway asks him if what happens if the caller's son is dead as a result of these wars and if he need his head examined over his beliefs that Iran has WMDs. Would he feel the same if that situation did become reality.

Near the end of this clip, the father is more than happy to send his son to Iran if the situation calls for it (while draping himself proudly with the Union Jack).

Callers who openly supported the Iraq war often backs off or left repeating themselves when Galloway ask them if they are going to grab their tin hat and gun and venture off to Iraq or ask them whether it is worth spilling their own or their relative's blood on a pointless war. Possibly a first time for Galloway, the caller bluntly says 'So be it' when facing Galloway's confrontational style.

I wouldn't like to be the son of that man if he is willing to regard my blood so cheaply by sending me off to fight a pointless war.

@PressFive No, they have a series of power stations and there has been some lovely shit spouted by the BBC and it's partner FOX, but Iran have complied with EVERY inspection.

No bombs just centrifuges, it's amazing to consider that from a half hour speech given by Amedinejad about nuclear power plants one line was plucked out by the BBC, FOX, MSNBC etc and that line was "Iran will continue it's nuclear path" which when taken out of context sounds aggressive but was cherry picked to mislead.

@tifauk Also, whats stopping some deluded power hungry leader from using one of these. We see leaders aimlessly killing their civilians in places like Syria. The other worrying fact is that Iran has lied on many occasions claiming they aren't developing WMDs even though they have later been proved to have been doing so. Countries like the US are deploying sanctions on Iran including cutting trade of materials which are required for the development. Behind closed doors their shittin themselves.

@tifauk Yes but unlike many countries which have WMDs in their possession they don't realise the capability of the weapons in question. Luckily countries have refrained from using WMDs so far as they realise it would be a pointless war as there would be nothing left to live for after, hence Russias 'Dead hand' missile system. I never denied that western countries have WMDs. The question is are leaders of arabic/eastern countries wise enough? They bomb each other enough as it is already.Oilhungry
